CROSBYTON (Special) - Graveside services for Juanita "Pete" Evans, 81, of Crosbyton will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Les Griffin, pastor of Crosbyton First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

She died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 1995, at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.

She was born in Globe on Aug. 24, 1914. She married James Edward "Edd" Evans on Dec. 14, 1935, in Floydada. He died April 10, 1993.

She was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church. She worked at George´s Grocery Store and for the Ralls Snack Bar. She was a graduate of Ralls High School. She moved to Crosbyton in 1967 from Ralls.

Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn Stegall of Crosbyton and Kay Smith of Mansfield; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
