One of Crosbyton´s oldest residents, Mrs. Alvina R. Escobedo, 92, was claimed by death at 3 p.m. Saturday following a lengthy illness. She died in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Spanish Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Raymond Banda of Lubbock officiated.
Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of King Funeral Home.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Escobedo had been a Crosbyton resident 19 years.
She was a member of the Latin American Pentecostal Church in Lubbock.
Survivors include a son, Armando Escobedo of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Andrea Flores of Crosbyton and Mrs. Luisa Caronado of Stanton; one brother; three sisters; 14 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
