Mrs. Mary Ella English Buried Here Sunday
Mrs. Mary Ella English, 82, pioneer resident of Crosby county, was buried in the Crosbyton cemetery Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock, following services held at Sundown Methodist church at 2 p.m.
Mrs. English died Friday about 9:30 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.A. Sessions of Sundown. She moved to Sundown with Mr. and Mrs. Sessions about four years ago.
Mrs. English and her family were long time residents of the White River community below the caprock southeast of Crosbyton. She moved to Crosbyton to make her home with her children several years before moving to Sundown.
Survivors are four sons, V.O. of Warren, Ariz., the Rev. J.C. English of Joplin, Mo., Amon and E.J. of Douglas, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Sessions and Miss Beatric English, both of Sundown; two brothers, J.B. Zinn of Lubbock and W.P. Zinn of Hobart, Okla.
