Services for Lonnie Finn Ellison, 63, of 605 N. Colton Ave. will be at 2 p.m.. Saturday at the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Bill Bryant of Lubbock and Jim York of Crosbyton officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 11 p.m. Wednesday at the V.A. Hospital in Amarillo of natural causes.

He was born in Desdemona but lived in Crosby County most of his life. He married Cleta Tackett July 6, 1941 in Crosbyton. He was a World War II Army Veteran.

He was a former Avalanche Journal route carrier in Dimmitt. He was a farmer and a member of the Crosbyton Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, David Wayne of Kensett, Ark. and Max of Dimmitt; two daughters, Bette Porter of Houston and Ginger Houston of Ralls; a brother, Earnest of Comanche; four sisters, Irene Holcomb and Fae Robertson, both of Crosbyton, Clara Stevens of Lubbock and Rubye Tillson of Austin; five grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Cleta EllisonServices for Cleta A. Ellison, 84, of Lubbock, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Sunset Church of Christ Chapel.

Cleta was born Feb.24, 1924, to S.H. and Eva Tackett in Crosbyton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie F. Ellison. She worked for Hemphill-Wells and Dunlap's for 25 years. She was an active member of Sunset Church of Christ where she was a member of the Life Group. She was also a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi.

She is survived by four children, David Wayne Ellison of Arkansas, Bette Porter of Dallas, Ginger Robertson of Lubbock, and Max Ellison of Lubbock. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
