Services for Roy Eugene Ellis, 39, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 11, 1992, in First Baptist Church with Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Ellis died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1992, in Lubbock´s St. Mary´s of the Plains Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Crosbyton and graduated from high school there. He attended Texas Tech University and moved to Austin in 1991. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Brady.
He is survived by a son Leigh of Sequin; his mother, June Ellis of Crosbyton; a paternal grandmother, Ethna Mae Ellis of Crosbyton; a maternal grandmother, Irene Britton of Crosbyton; a brother, Doyle of Houston; and a sister, Beverly Roberts of Crosbyton.
The family suggest memorials to Hospice of Lubbock.
