Leonard Ellis U.S.Flag CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Leonard Lee Ellis, 50, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today in Adams Funeral Home with Jimmy Karr of Crosbyton and the Rev. Les Griffin, pastor of Crosbyton First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery.

Ellis died Thursday, March 2, 1995, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital.

He was born Aug. 20, 1944, in Ralls. He moved to Crosbyton from Houston in 1985, and he was a Baptist. He had served in the U.S. Navy.

He was a captain and pilot of a shrimp boat in Florida, and he worked for Dow Chemical Co. as a hydro-blaster in Houston.

Survivors include his father, Adrian Ellis of Crosbyton; and three sisters, Shirley Sitz and Geneva Sasser, both of Forth Worth, and Carol DuBose of Andrews.

Pallbearers will be Joe Edward, Johnnie Wilson, G.L. DuBose, J.C. DuBose, Wayland Houchin and Richard Rogers.
