CROSBYTON Services for Ethna Mae Ellis, 89, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Lester B. Griffin officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at Floydada Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 2, 1911, in Whitney. She married Lonnie Lee Ellis on July 18, 1929, in Crosbyton. He died on Oct. 16, 1983. She was a homemaker and a member of Crosbyton First Baptist Church. She had lived in Crosbyton since 1920.
A son, Roy Lee, died on Jan. 6, 1980. A son, Orvin Gene, died on Feb. 24, 1967.
Survivors include a son, William of Crosbyton; a daughter, Dorothy Green of Lubbock; a sister, Bertha Appling of Canyon; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the South Plains Chapter of the National Alzheimer´s Association.
