Tillie Edler

Rose Spray
Granny (Tillie) Edler had 3 sons and 2 daughters, Bertha Beatrice May and a daughter named Mary that died during childhood in Michigan (before they came to Texas). However, Tillie was born 21 February 1880 to John Page and Amelia Nevel ( or Nevill) in Lycoming, PA and she died 2 May 1950 in San Antonio, TX and buried next to her husband Charles Wesley Edler in Crosbyton, TX.

Tillie's true name was Til because she was born prematurely and her father didn't think that she'd survive so he called her "Til", short for "til she ain't with us no more."

Tillie had a heart of gold, althrough she was small in stature, had a temper on her, she could handle just about anything that came along! (That's probably what helped her to survive.)
