Albert Duxbury was born May 5, 1853 in Maine. His father, James Duxbury was born in England and died in Dallas Collin Co., Texas. His mother M. Dorcas Webster was born in Vermont and died in Hico, Hamilton county, Texas. Albert married Mary "Mollie" Catherine Webster August 7,1885 in Hico, Hamilton County, Texas. Molly was born in 1867 in Alabama. Her parents were John and Angeline Wesley, John was born in North Carolina and Angeline born in Alabama. Molly died in Hico, Hamilton county, Texas in 1926 and is buried in Whittenton Cemetery, Hamilton county, Texas. Their daughter Stella Elvira Duxbury was born in Hamilton county 1886; she died in 1961 Lubbock county, Texas.
Albert lived in Hamilton County, Texas for the first part of his married life which is stated on the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census. He was a carpenter, house builder by trade on census. After his wife died in 1926, Albert moved to McAdoo, Dickens county, Texas. He died in 1928 in Crosby County and is buried in Crosbyton Cemetery.
