Bobby Duncan, 69, of White River Lake, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at VistaCare Center in Lubbock. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2009, in the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Randy Hamilton VistaCare Chaplain officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He was born Aug. 1, 1939 in Seymour to Lester Leon and Mary (Curry) Duncan. Bobby had been a groundskeeper and enjoyed fishing and reading.
He is preceded in death by a son, Virgil Lester Duncan in 1993; a grandson, Brandon Duncan; and a great grandson, Jonathan Thedford.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Simmons and husband, Kenneth, of White River; a sister, Eva Rhodes and husband, Charlie, of Lubbock; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
