Graveside services for Nell B. Dover, 97, of Lubbock were at 9 a.m. Friday, Apr. 9, 1999 in Crosbyton Cemetery with Tommy Anderson, a Church of Christ minister of Memphis, officiating. Burial was in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.She died at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 1999, in Carousel Care Center in Lubbock.
She was born Aug. 6, 1901, in Houma, La. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She moved to Lubbock from New York in 1953.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Marie Carrie Miller of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Mary Florence Anderson of Lubbock; a sister, Maris Stevens Bourg of New Orleans, La.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
