Graveside services for Cecil Garland Dobbs, 55, were at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Crosbyton Cemetery with Roger Turner, minister of the Crosbyton Church of Christ, officiating. The body remained at King Funeral Home here from Monday morning until time for the rites.Mr. Dobbs was claimed by death Saturday in his Houston home.
He had resided in Houston since 1952 when he moved there from Crosbyton.
Dobbs was born March 26, 1917, in Crosbyton.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Jimmy and Tommy, all of Houston; two daughters, Mary Ann Campbell and Jean Alexander, both of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. S. H. Tackett of Floydada, Mrs. Bessie Thornton of Houston and Mrs. Edna Wood of New Waverly; a brother, Hester Dobbs of Mountain Home, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
Acting as pallbearers Allen Mize, Lonnie Ellison, D. B. Ellison, Bennie Smith and C.D. Cash.
