Frankie DewbreServices for Frankie Lee Dewbre, 75, of Crosbyton will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton with the Rev. Les Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. Frankie passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006 at her home in Crosbyton.

She was born on June 14, 1931 in Alvord, Texas to the late Frank and Leola (Powell) Dobson. On January 7, 1948 she married James J. Dewbre in Dickens.

She was a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She had lived in Crosbyton most of her life.

Survivors include; her husband; James J. Dewbre of Crosbyton, a son; James M. Dewbre of Azle, a daughter; LaDonna Jan "L. J." Dewbre of Crosbyton, a brother; Jeryl Wayne Dobson of Longview, three sisters; Eva Payne of Lubbock, Marie Stanton of Newcastle, Melba Hickman of Hereford, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were; Gary Vick, Wayne Huff, Jerry Peirce, Chris Drake, David Dewbre and Mike Hamersley.

James Dewbre

Services for James "Junior" Dewbre, 81, of Crosbyton will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2009 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton with Rev. Lester Griffin officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. He was born November 27, 1927 in Ralls to the late Elmer Lee and Artie May (Davis) Dewbre. On January 7, 1948 he married Frankie Lee Dobson in Dickens. She preceded him in death on December 3, 2006.

Junior had lived in the Crosby County area all his life and owned and operated James Body Shop for many years. Survivors include; a son and his wife; James and Sue Dewbre of Azle, a daughter; L. J. Dewbre of Crosbyton, two brothers; Dean Dewbre and Tony Dewbre both of Shallowater, two grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.
