Denton Service Set Thursday
CROSBYTON (Special) - Guy E. Denton, 72, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday in a Crosbyton hospital after a long illness.Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Earnest Stewart, pastor, and the Rev. Peyton Fullingim, officiating. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery with full Masonic rites directed by King Funeral Home.
He came to Crosbyton in 1946, where he served as city secretary 2 1/2 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Matt; two daughters, Mrs. Milton Maddox of Everman and Mrs. Joe Boyle of Abilene; a son, Guy P. Denton of Everman; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
