Services For Mrs. Rachel Denson Slated Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Denson, 36, were to be held at King Chapel this afternoon, Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lloyd Hamilton, Methodist pastor, and Rev. Carl Grissom, Baptist pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Crosbyton cemetery, with King Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Denson was born May 22, 1913, in Nebraska, and had been a resident of Crosbyton for about 14 years.
She is survived by the husband, Troy Denson; a daughter, Dorothy; three sons, Herman D., Thomas E., and Henry E.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.O. Porter of Crosbyton; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Pierson of Crosbyton, and Mrs. Thurman Armstrong, of Cash; and two brothers, Bill Porter of Crosbyton,a nd Orville Porter of Palestone.
