FUNERAL SERVICES HELD HERE MONDAY FOR W. K. DAZEY, 60
Former Crosbyton Man Is Survived By Wife and Several Children
W. K. Dazey, 60, died Saturday evening January 27, at 7 o'clock p.m., at his home south of Ralls.Funeral services were held Monday evening at 3 o'clock at the First Methodist church in Crosbyton with Rev. E. H. Crandall, pastor officating and Rev. C. E. Dick, pastor of the First Baptist church assisting.
He was buried in the Crosbyton cemetery with Will Marr, undertaker of Ralls, in charge.
William Kendel Dazey was born December 4, 1873 in Jackson, Miss. While an infant the family moved to Texas and settled in Rockwall county where he grew to manhood and lived until coming to Crosby county in 1925. On December 15, 1901, he was married to Miss Elsie Bennett, and to this union was born nine children.
When but a boy, Mr. Dazey was converted and joined the Methodist church, and was active member until his illness prevented.
Mr. Dazey is survived by his wife and the following children; Mrs. Hubert McCullum, Garland; Mrs. Jimmie Newman, Dallas; Mrs. Harvey Edler, Elmer, Ernest, Dean, Ben and Willie Ailene, of Crosbyton; also one brother J. B. Dazey and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: B. B. Steel, Jno. Steel, Carl Wren, Geo. Pipkin, Forrest Edler and A. W. Pyron. A beautiful offering was contributed by friends.
