CLOVIS (Special) - Services for Elmer Dazey, 73, of Clovis will be at 2:30 p.m. (MDT) Wednesday in the Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis with Dr. H. E. Bergstrom and the Rev. Jim Russell officiating.

Graveside services and burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home.

Dazey died early Monday morning in the Clovis High Plains Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was a native of Rockwall and had lived in Clovis since 1931. He retired from the Santa Fe Railway in 1973 after 32 years with the company.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian, of Clovis; a son, Billy Mack of Midwest City, Okla.; a step-son, Frank Love of Amarillo; two step-daughters, Louise Reed of Clovis, Betty Hendrick of Bakersville, Calif.; three sisters, Beuna Mae McCollum of Kerrville, Jimmie Newman of Dallas, Aline Newton of Anchorage, Alaska; three brothers, Dean of Minnesota, Ernest of Whitney and Ben of Clovis; and a grandchild.
