Services for Dovie L. Davis, 72, of Wolfforth will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Wolfforth Church of Christ with Brooks Kennedy, minister of the Bedford Church of Christ, and Dae Emery, minister of the Wolfforth Church of Christ officiating.Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
Mrs. Davis died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 1993, in St. Mary´s Plaza Skilled Nursing Center.
She was born on Nov. 14, 1920, in Crosby County. She married Curtis Lee Davis on June 3, 1939, in Lubbock. He died Sept. 16, 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wolfforth Church of Christ. She attended Howard Payne College and had worked at Fort McDermett Indian Reservation in Nevada.
Survivors include two daughters, LaRue Gregory of Lubbock and Marsha Barreye of Sanger; one sister, Jewell Ellison of Panhandle; and three grandchildren.
