
Services for Clyde Denny Davis, 56, of Buffalo Springs Lake were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Lester B. Griffin officiating and Elder Tom Taylor of Crosbyton Primitive Baptist Church assisting.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
He died Sunday, September 10, 2000, at University Medical Center.
He was born on December 6, 1943, in Haskell, TX.
He married Jessie Tidwell on Sept. 13, 1968, in Lubbock.
He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Crosbyton High School and West Texas State College. He was a farmer and a produce salesman. He moved to Lubbock in 1968.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Davis on August 15, 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Davis of Buffalo Springs Lake; his mother, Virginia Davis of Crosbyton; two sons, Denny Davis, Jr. of Crosbyton and James Davis of Lorenzo; one brother, Steve Davis of Abilene; one sister, Judy Ogle of Crosbyton; three grandchildren, Chad Aaron Davis, Jesslyn Danielle Davis and Matthew Cullen Davis.
The family received visitors from 7 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday Sept. 12, at Adams Funeral Home.
