CROSBYTON (Special) - Graveside services for Owen Crump, 95, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Beth Harrington, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.Burial will be directed by Adams Funeral Home.
Crump died at 8:04 a.m. Monday, March 14, 1994, in Crosbyton Hospital.
He was born on April 7, 1898, in Montague County. He married Della Fay Keith on March 8, 1919, in Crosby County. She died on Dec. 27, 1990. He started the first rural route for mail delivery out of Crosbyton Post Office. He retired in 1960. Two daughters, Frances Crump Watson and Virginia Guess, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Owen Keith of Kingsland; a brother, Edmond of Ralls; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
