CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Cassie Crump, 83, of Lubbock will be at 5 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Marley, pastor of Round Rock First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 5 a.m. Thursday in Lubbock´s St. Mary´s Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Speedwell, Tenn., and moved from Crosbyton to Lubbock in 1973. She married George William Crump in November 1922 in Crosbyton. He died on Oct. 8, 1966. She was a former Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star. She owned "House of Ideas" gift and children´s store until retiring in 1972. She was a member of Lubbock´s Oakwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Norma Davis of Lubbock; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Cleddie Edwards, Ted Karr, Charles Freeman, Bill Carter, J.B. Parkinson and Jimmy Karr.
