CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Nettie P. Coward, 89, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Crosbyton with the Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday in Lubbock Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Noonan, GA, She owned and operated Marinello Beauty Salon in Crosbyton from 1930 to 1940. She married Alvah J. Coward in 1911 in Stringertown. She moved to Crosbyton in 1917 from Waco.

She was a Baptist and a member of the Women´s Missionary Union and a former Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Kalah Graham of Lubbock, Glenda Mikeska of Pasadena, Stanley A. of Nashville, Tenn., and William A. of Borne; a half sister, Ruby Kindle of Columbus, Ohio; nine great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Texas Boys Ranch or Meals on Wheels.
