Funeral services for Lester Arlois Coward, 65, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6 in the Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor and Rev. Orval See, Baptist minister from Panhandle, Texas officiating. Burial followed in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Coward died at 3:35 a.m. in Methodist Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born July 27, 1913 in Rosebud, Texas. He was a former printer and a retired Baptist minister. He was a former pastor of the West End Baptist Church in Lubbock. He was song leader at the Arnett Benson Baptist Church, Lubbock. Wolfforth First Baptist (rest of obit not saved)
