  CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Wilbur L. "Bill" Cooper, 71, of Crosbyton will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Primitive Baptist Church with George Johnson of Idalou and Gayle McCoy of Spade officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Cooper died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 1994, in Lubbock´s St. Mary Hospital.

He was born on May 25, 1923, in Inkster, N.D. He married Tenia Richardson Polvadore on Oct. 12, 1980, in Crosbyton. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Primitive Baptist Church. A son, Chuck, preceded him in death.

He was an oil field pusher.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Edward Cooper and David Cooper, both of Lovington, N.M., and Ray Polvadore of Albuquerque, N.M.; two stepsons, Gary Cooper and Mark Allan Gillian, both of Levelland; a stepdaughter, Debra Hughes of Ruidoso, N.M.; a brother, Robert of Grantsburg, Wis.; a sister, Emma Olson of Reynolds, N.D.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Don Handley, Bob Porter, Cecil Richardson, K.B. Ritchie, Bill Hash and Doyle Parrish.
