Services for Sarah Coleman, 79, of Crosbyton were at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Galilee Baptist Church in Crosbyton with the Rev. Billy Wiley officiating. Burial followed in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Sarah passed away on December 16, 2007 at Crosbyton Hospital.
She was born on December 27, 1927 in Henderson, Texas to the late Houston and Ida (Cole) McDavis. She married Sam Coleman in Lubbock.
Sarah was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by two sons; Kennedy Coleman in 1979 and Sam Coleman, Jr. in 2006. Survivors include; her husband Sam, Sr. of Crosbyton, three sons; John Wesley Coleman of Borger, J. D. Coleman of Cleburne, Eugene Coleman of Amarillo, seven daughters; Sarah Wiley, Bernice Coleman and Bobbie Coleman all of Crosbyton, Charlie Mae Butler of Borger, Mary Jan Antwine of Garland, Willie C. Coleman of Dallas and Cherie Coleman of Borger 36 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Eric Wiley, James Coleman, Steven Coleman, James Christopher Coleman, Patrick Cornelius and Jay Coleman.
