George Coker Dies; Rites Set

CROSBYTON (Special) - George Coker, 72, Crosbyton contract harvester, was dead on arrival at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Methodist Church with the Rev. Lee Crouch officiating. Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

Coker owned combines and other harvest equipment and followed the grain harvest in contract work.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha; three sons; three daughters, Mrs. Dawson Little of Amarillo, Mrs. Charles Hall of Lubbock and Mrs. Arthur Murrell of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a brother, B.T. of Wichita Falls; a half-brother, S.D. Richardson of Hale Center; five sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Neystell of Fort Worth, Mrs. Ebbie Weeks of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Opal Worley of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Piety Peterson of Cleburne and Mrs. Ora Berhinger of Grand Prairie; and six grandchildren.
