Services for Lola Joyce Clements, 80, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m Saturday, Mar. 25, 1989, in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 22, 1989, in Crosbyton Care Center after a brief illness.

She was born in Honey Grove and had lived in Boswell, Okla., Bonham and Ralls before moving to Crosbyton in 1964. She married Joe W. Clements on Nov. 28, 1928, in Bonham. He died in 1988. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, James Allen of Fort Worth; a daughter, Linda Caraway of Lubbock; two sisters, Louise Bickford of Sand Springs, Okla., and Christine Morgan of Fort Worth; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
