CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Jessie James Chatham, 73 of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Galilee Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Horn, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Chapham was dead on arrival at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton Hospital after suffering from a coronary arrest.
The Leon County native married Leola Alexander April 24, 1926 in Normangee. They moved to Crosbyton in 1950 where he worked as a ginner.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Lee of Sacramento, Calif., and William Henry of Lubbock; three daughters, Miss Francis Marie Chatham, Mrs. Mary Alice Davis, both of Crosbyton, and Mrs. Jo Ann Hatchett of Lubbock; two brothers Henry Adams of Normangee, and Jim Adams of McGregor; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Williams of Normangee, and Mrs. Mary Johnson of Jewett; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
