  CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Paul Chambers, 79, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Les Griffin, pastor, and Bobby Rine, a retired Baptist minister from Idalou, officiating.

Burial in Crosbyton Cemetery will be directed by Adams Funeral Home.

Chambers died at 1 a.m. Sunday in Veteran´s Administration Medical Center in Amarillo after a lengthy illness.

He was born in May and had lived in Knox City and Lubbock before moving to Crosbyton in 1976. He married Mozelle Wells in 1961 in Aspermont. He had worked as an oil field roughneck and as a Lubbock city employee. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife and a brother, Marvin Chambers of May.

Pallbearers will be Joe Hargrove, Palmer Hutchings, Austin Steen, Wynn Robinson, Jimmy Karr and Ted Karr.
