Services for Mozelle Chambers, 78, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Lee Griffin, pastor officiating, and Bobby Rine, retired Baptist minister from Idalou, assisting.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home Crosbyton.
She died Sunday, June 27, 1999, at Crosbyton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 26, 1921, in Azle, TX.
She married Paul Chambers on Nov. 25, 1961, in Aspermont. He died July 26, 1992.
She was a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and moved to Crosbyton in 1976 from Lubbock.
Survivors include two sisters, Katie Reagan of Crosbyton and Zenobia Cornely of Houston; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were: Kenneth Witt, Kenneth Stegall, Palmer Hutchings, Travis Copeland, Austin Steen and Harold Trull.
