
Services for Mozelle Starr Cash, 73, of Lubbock, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at Green Lawn Church of Christ with Dale Mannon officiating and Jack Cummings assisting.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
She was born Dec. 9, 1926, in Denton County, TX.
She married Richard Ross Cash on Sept. 2, 1945, in Reno, Nevada.
She was a member of the Green Lawn Church of Christ where she had taught a Bible class. She was a hostess, seamstress, homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She moved to Lubbock in 1979 from Crosbyton.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Brady Starr, on Dec. 31, 1996.
Survivors include her husband, Ross Cash of Lubbock; one daughter, Charlotte Powers of Ft. Worth, three sisters and their husbands, Johnnie and Dee Cash of Crosbyton, Martha and Jim Rogers of Midland, and Mary and Bill Wright of Ralls; one brother and his wife, Jim and Sally Starr of Hurst; two granddaughters, Shannon Powers of Hurst and Holly Powers of San Diego, CA.
Pallbearers were D.J. Moses, Terry Ellison, Brooks Ellison, Donald Clyde Ellison, Wayne Ricketson, Hoodie Lewis, Don Sager and Larry Rogers.
The family suggests memorials to the Children´s Home of Lubbock or the Green Lawn Church of Christ Building Fund.

He died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001.
He was born Oct. 21, 1923, in Duncan, Okla., and married Mozelle Starr on Sept. 2, 1945, in Reno, Nev. She died June 10, 2000. He was the Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year in 1974 and moved to Lubbock from Crosbyton in 1979. He was a farmer and a member of Green Lawn Church of Christ in Lubbock.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Powers of Fort Worth; a brother, Dee of Crosbyton; four sisters, Dette Sursa of Boerne, Cozette Blackwood of Lubbock, Mary Elsie Atterberry of Pawhuska, Okla., and Jean Beck of Okmulgee, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
