CROSBYTON (Special) - Prayer services for Jesus Casanova, 78, of Crosbyton will be at 7 p.m. today in Templo Maranatha with the Revs. Ramon Banda of Dallas and Edward Rhones of Amarillo officiating.Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in First United Methodist Church with the same officiants.
Burial in Crosbyton Cemetery will be directed by Adams Funeral Home.
Casanova died Thursday, March 17, 1994, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.
He was born on March 29, 1915, in Sinton, where he married Margarita Flores on Jan. 9, 1938. He moved to Crosbyton in 1956 from Edcouch. He was a custodian for Crosbyton Clinic Hospital and for Crosbyton Schools and also worked for Brown Supply in Crosbyton. He was a member of Templo Marantha.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Joaquin, Salome Gilberto and Miguel, all of Crosbyton, Marcos of Corsicana and Nobreto "Bret" of Dallas; five daughters, Ema Singleterry, Amelia Arroyo, Alejandra Santos, Eva and Priscilla Maria, all of Crosbyton; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Leo Santos, J.J Santos, Luis Arroyo III, Noe Casanova, Efrain Ben Casanova, Jael Casanova and Abimael Jesus Casanova.
