Salbador Carrasco Sr.

Salbador Carrasco photoSalbador G. Carrasco Sr., 68, of Crosbyton passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 in Lubbock. He was born November 15, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas to Jose and Estella (Garcia) Carrasco. He married Clarita Sandoval in Crosbyton over 40 years ago. Salbador enjoyed playing baseball and softball, and loved cooking out and having fun with his family and friends. He cherished the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Salbador was an incredibly unselfish man, and despite his hardships, he managed to keep a smile on his face.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Jose and Estella Carrasco; and his brother; Donicio Carrasco.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Clarita (Sandoval) Carrasco of Crosbyton; three daughters; Josie Martinez of Lubbock; Mary Jane Martinez of Lubbock; Adelita Martinez of Dallas; five sons; Salbador Carrasco Jr. of Fort Worth; Rudy Carrasco of Ralls; Henry Carrasco of Lubbock; John Sandoval of Lubbock; Roy Moreno of Crosbyton; three brothers; Roland and Manuel Carrasco of Olton; Rosendo Carrasco of Levelland; four sisters; Sophia and Rosa Garcia of Olton; Lupe Carrasco of O�Donnell; Diana Aleman of Beeville; twenty-eight grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be 11am Friday, September 2, at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton, with burial following in Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. Rosary will be 7pm Thursday, September 1, at San Jose Catholic Church.
