Was Mother of Local Men and Formerly LIved North of City
Mrs. K. F. Campbell, 78, of Petersburg but formerly of Crosbyton, was buried Saturday afternoon in the Crosbyton cemetery following services the same day at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. R. Logan, at Petersburg. Rev. Dale, Primitive Baptist pastor of Cone, conducted the services.

Mrs. Campbell was born in Tennessee, moving to Texas in 1893, and to West Texas in 1898. The family moved to Crosbyton in 1920 where they lived for 5 or six years, moving first to Childress county and later to Hereford. She and Mr. Campbell had been living with their daughter at Petersburg the past two years.

Surviving are her husband, four sons, S.R. Campbell, Crosbyton; Oscar Campbell, Kalgary; W.A. Campbell, Crosbyton; and Floyd Campbell, Hereford; three daughters, Mrs. C. R. Logan, Petersburg; Mrs. Carl Mangum, Plainview; and Mrs. Melvin Mitchell, Harlingin. All the children and their families were present for the services except Mrs. Mitchell.

AGED MAN DIED AT HOME OF SON EAST PLAINS THURSDAY
K.F. Campbell, 85, passed away last Thursday, Sept. 24, at the home of his son, S.F. Campbell on the East Plains. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Campbell home conducted by Rev. Dale. Internment was in the Crosbyton cemetery with Curry Funeral Home in charge.

He is survived by four sons and three daughters: S.R. Campbell, Crosbyton; Oscar Campbell, Kalgary; F.M. Campbell and W.A. Campbell, Hereford; Mrs. Carl Mangum, Plainview; Mrs. C.R. Logan, Petersburg, and Mrs. Melvin Mitchell, Lorenzo.

K.F. Campbell was born in Middle Teneessee on March 12, 1857. In 1878 he was married to Miss Nancy Price in Arkansas and eleven children were born to this union. His wife and four children precedeed him in death. He was a pioneer in this section of the country and lived in Texas for 50 years.

Pallbearers were: J.B. Marley, J.H. Webb, Burral Wall, Claude Sudduth, P.Z. Thornhill and Mel Givens.
