Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) — Graveside services for Joanna Campbell, 66, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Les Griffin, pastor of Crosbyton First Baptist Church, officiating.

Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home, Crosbyton.

She died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at her home.

She was born March 14, 1931, in Crosbyton and married Garland Lee Campbell on May 16, 1948, in Crosbyton.

She was a member of Lubbock´s First Baptist Church. She moved to Lubbock from Crosbyton in 1950. She was a former resident of Hereford.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Lance of Lubbock; three daughters, Robin Rowell and Dawn Campsey, both of Lubbock, and Michelle Bradford of Brownwood; two sisters, Claudia Shreva of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Ruth Lewis of Crosbyton; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services for Garland Lee Campbell, 75, of Lubbock were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001, at Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Lester Griffen officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He was born May 26, 1926, in Loco, Childress County, TX.

He married Joanna Raymond on May 16, 1948, in Crosbyton. She died Jan. 23, 1998.

He served in the Army during World War II in the South Pacific and served an extended tour of duty in Germany. He worked for 40 years in Lubbock as a butcher. He moved to Lubbock in 1950 from Crosbyton.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren; a brother, Oscar Campbell, Jr.; and a sister, Fay Pince.

Survivors include a son, Lance of Lubbock; three daughters, Robin Rowell and Dawn Campsey, both of Lubbock, and Michelle Bradford of Brownwood; three brothers, Bob of Roswell N.M., Bill of Wichita Falls and Jack of San Angelo; and seven grandchildren.
