Memorial services for LaJuana Calhoun, 72, of Lamesa were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at Lamesa First Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter McCall of Big Spring officiating.
Graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Northridge Retirement Center in Lamesa.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lamesa. She was a real estate agent for several years. She moved to Lamesa from Austin.
She was preceded in death by a sister D´Linda Valentine and by a grandson, Chris Calhoun, and by a great grandson, Kendal Cude.
Survivors include three sons; Tony Calhoun of Lamesa, Michael Calhoun of Ventura, CA; Jerry Calhoun of Georgetown; a daughter, Cathy Vaughn of O´Donnell; her mother, Merle Robinett of Lamesa, a sister Wynell Freeman of Lamesa; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
