Maria Elena Buenrostro, 64, of Crosbyton, departed this life on Sunday, April 7, 2012, in Lubbock. Celebration of life services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Jose Kochuparambil officiating. Burial will follow in Crosbyton Cemetery under the personal care of the Adams Funeral Home - Crosbyton. Visitation for friends and family will be from 2 - 5 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2012, at Adams Funeral Home-Crosbyton.
Maria was born on August 20, 1947, in Guadalajara, M�xico, to Juan and Maria C. (Delgado) Rodriguez. She married Filiberto Zapata Buenrostro on September 14, 1963 in Aguas Calientes, Mexico. Maria loved to sew and knit and was a very good cook. She was a very loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Preceded in death by her father, Juan Rodriduez.
Survivors include her husband, Filiberto Buenrostro, her seven children, Roberto Buenrostro Rodriguez of Mexico, Maria Alonso Buenrostro of Chaparral, NM, Rosa E. Buenrostro Rodriguez of Crosbyton, Raul Buenrostro Rodriguez of Albuquerque, NM, Yolanda Marcial Buenrostro of Denver, CO, Gloria Buenrostro Rodriguez of Crosbyton, Julieta A Vargas Buenrostro of Denver, CO, her brothers and sisters, Jose Rodriguez of Mexico, Alfonso Rodriguez and Maria Herrera both of Crosbyton, Jose Diaz, Manuel Diaz, Irene Castellanos, Esther Meza, Jesus Diaz all of Mexico, 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Rosary will be Monday, April 9, 2012 at 7 pm at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton.
