CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Charles E. Brown, 65, of Midland will be at 2 p.m. today at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2000, at his home.
He was born Nov. 6, 1934, in Whitewright. He was a truck mechanic and worked for Lease Way and Penske until retirement. He moved to Midland from Odessa in 1986. He was a former Lubbock resident.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Hendricks Brown on July 21, 1984.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff of Spur and Michael of Midland; four brothers, Donald Phelps of Abilene, Wilbert of Booker, and Cody and Arnold Phelps, both of Lubbock; two sisters, Selma Stepp of Brighton, Colo. and Fredia Sneed of The Colony; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
