CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Charles H. Brown, 22, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Canyon Baptist Church with the Rev. Perry Threadgill, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Brown died at 12:56 a.m. Saturday in Lubbock General Hospital after being electrocuted at his home. Justice of the Peace Earl Yarborough ruled the death due to accidental electrocution.
He was born in Lubbock and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and moved back to Lubbock in 1981 from California. He married Trudy Rowland Oct. 30, 1981 in San Luis Obispo, Calif. He was a cook at the Kettle Restaurant in Lubbock.
Survivors include his wife; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown of Lubbock; his grandmothers, Durine Phelps and Elizabeth Dickerson of Lubbock; a stepdaughter, Lisa Martinelli; two stepsisters, Tammy Morin of Cleveland, Ark., Loretta McCallun of Lubbock; a brother, Jeffery Lynn of Lubbock; two half brothers, George Crawford of Beaumont, Michael of Lubbock.
