Services for Mrs. Bea "Ted" Hancock Brown, 80, of Lubbock were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2000, at the Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Les Griffin, pastor, officiating.Burial was in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at her Lubbock residence.
She was born March 31, 1920, in Denton, TX.
She married Grady Earl Hancock on April 26, 1945, in Lovington, N.M. He died Oct. 14, 1979. She then married Clifford Brown on Feb. 9, 1995, in Lubbock.
She was a member of Crosbyton First Baptist Church She worked as a dietitian at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital for more than 30 years. She moved to Crosbyton in 1921 and to Lubbock in 1995.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Brown of Lubbock; two sons, Michael Grady Hancock of McAdoo and Ricky Earl Hancock of Lubbock; four brothers, Wesley Ogle of Monahans, W.C. Ogle of Howlington, Kan., Roland Ogle of Comanche, TX and Oma Ogle of Llano, TX; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
