Obituary

Woodrow Brints Services for Woodrow Wilson Brints, 93, of Lubbock, formerly of Idalou and Crosbyton will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, July 21, 2008 at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Floydada with Elder Ronnie Hedges and Elder George Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 to noon on Monday.

Mr. Brints passed away Friday, July 18, 2008 at The Plaza in Lubbock. He was born February 1, 1915 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late John and Hattie (Milsead) Brints. On October 29, 1936 he married Stella Fay Bingham in Benjamin, Texas. He was a farmer and a member of the New Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Floydada. He was a founding director of the Harmony Plains Singing School and a former member of the Crosbyton Lions Club and Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Fay of Lubbock, a daughter and her husband, Christene and Don Edwards of Lubbock, two sons and their wives, Norman and Sydney Brints of Vernon and Calvin and Susan Brints of Lubbock, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Serving as casket bearers will be his grandsons, Clint Brints, Chad Brints, Ky Brints, Travis Brints, James Bell, Greg Bell and Perry Bell.

Stella BrintsStella Fay (Bingham) Brints, 97, of Lubbock passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016. She was born in Young County, TX on October 26, 1918 to Wilkerson and Luevina (Elliott) Bingham. Stella married Woodrow Wilson Brints on October 29, 1936 in Benjamin, Texas. She was a member of New Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Floydada and a former member of the Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce. Stella cooked for the Crosbyton Lions Club for 26 � years before retiring in January 1989 and was active with Harmony Plains Singing School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilkerson and Luevina Bingham; her husband, Woodrow Wilson Brints; her daughter, Christene Edwards; two brothers, Wilburn and Ed Bingham; and two sisters, Maria Bass and Geltta Harvey.

Stella is survived by her two sons; Norman Brints and wife Sydney of Vernon; Calvin Brints and wife Susan of Lubbock; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and seven great-great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday, April 7, at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Floydada. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, from 1pm to 2 pm at the church. Burial will follow in Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
