Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Rowena Blagg of Levelland, a former Crosbyton resident, were pending at press time Tuesday with Adams Funeral Home here. Members of the family said memorial services are to be conducted in First Baptist Church, Crosbyton, with interment in Crosbyton Cemetery, although the time had not been determined.

Mrs. Blagg succumbed at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday in University Hospital, Lubbock, following a brief illness. She was 61.

Born Feb. 21, 1915 in Chillicothe, the former Edith Rowena Karr made her home in Crosbyton several years ago. She and Jim Blagg, Jr. were married Oct. 8, 1966.

Mrs. Blagg was a member of First Baptist Church in Crosbyton.

Survivors include her husband, Jim of Levelland; her mother, Mrs. Alice Higginbotham of Crosbyton; and two brothers, Ted Karr and Jimmy Karr of Crosbyton.
