Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special)Services for Mrs. Theo Blackwood, 77, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor, officiating, assisted by Bill Bryant of the Parkway Church of Christ of Lubbock.

Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home.

Mrs. Blackwood, a resident of Crosby County since 1924, died at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Crosbyton Hospital following a brief illness.

Mrs. Blackwood was a native of Pike County, Ark., and was a Baptist.

Survivors include six sons, Cecil and Bill, both of Dallas, Raymond of Sanger, Calif., Robert of Muleshoe, Ed of Kenai, Alaska, and Ivy of Crosbyton; five daughters, Mrs. Thelma B. Martin of Oroville, Calif., Mrs. Dorothy Harrell of Greensboro, NC, and Mrs. Ed Stewart, Mrs. Syble Hames and Mrs. Earl Hood, all of Lubbock; five sisters, Mrs. C.S. Choate of Graham, Mrs. Richard Barum of Snyder, Mrs. Bonnie Barrick of Barneyville, Okla., and Mrs. Mattie Hiddon and Mrs. Ira Hiddon, both of Orland, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
