Services for Robert "Bob" Blackwood, 82, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Green Lawn Church of Christ with Terry Brown, minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

He died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, in Lubbock.

He was born June 12, 1914, in Graham, and he had been a longtime resident of Muleshoe before moving to Lubbock in 1989. He married Cozette Cash on June 17, 1939, in Crosbyton. He had served on the hospital board, the Muleshoe school board and the High Plains Water Board. He was a former member of the Rotary Club, and he had been an elder at Muleshoe Church of Christ. He was a member of Green Lawn Church of Christ.

He was a farmer, and he owned and operated a real estate and insurance office in Muleshoe.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rodney of Lubbock and Greg of Liberal, Kan.; three brothers, Ed of Sulphur Springs, Bill of Wills Point and Ivy of Crosbyton; three sisters, SybleHames, and Ruth Hood, both of Lubbock, and Dorothy Harrell of Greensboro, NC.; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
