Services for Ivy Houston Blackwood, 80, of Crosbyton were at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 4, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton with the Rev. Les Griffin officiating. Burial was held in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He died Sunday, October 3, 2004 at Crosbyton Hospital.

He was born May 16, 1924 in Graham, Texas to William L. and Theodisia Benson Blackwood. Ivy was a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church and worked for Winn's Variety Store for 35 years. He had lived in Crosbyton all his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Robert, Ed and Bill Blackwood.

Survivors include three sisters; Dorothy Harrell of Greensboro, NC, Ruth Hood and Syble Hames both of Lubbock and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be; Bobby Hames, Jackie Veazy, Clyde Reams, Jan Hood, James Veazy, Dr. Rod Blackwood and David Blackwood.
