Obituary

  Services for O. J. Beeler, 67, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 19, 1994, in the Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Beeler died at 3:48 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 1994, at his residence. Justice of the Peace Clyde Davis ruled the death due to natural causes.

He was born on May 14, 1926, in Muskogee, Okla. He married Bulah Gillentine on June 1, 1948, in Benjamin. He was a mechanic and a Veteran of WWII serving in the Army. He moved to Crosby County in 1950 from Benjamin, TX.

Survivors include his wife, Bulah Beeler of Crosbyton; a son, Hubert Dale Beeler of Crosbyton; a brother, Kenneth Beeler of Big Spring; two sisters, Jean Murphree of Big Spring and Martha Ray Lee of Henderson; and a granddaughter, Melanie Clark.
