Barbara Sue Barr of Lubbock passed away on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at the age of 71. She was born March 10, 1940, in Waco to the late Norval Lollace and Susie Elese (Parsons) Barr. Barbara Sue graduated from Kermit High School in 1957 and went on to obtain her Associate of Arts degree from Lubbock Christian College in 1960. She made her home in Lubbock. She worked as an administrative assistant, retiring from Texas Tech (Southwest Collection).
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today, Dec. 27, 2011, at Combest Family Funeral Homes. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, in the Crosbyton Cemetery.
