Mass for Santiago "Jimmy" Barbosa, 23, of Crosbyton was celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 1987 in the St. Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton with the Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating. A Rosary was held Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Church.

Burial was in the Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 1987 in the Crosbyton Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born March 3, 1964 in Lubbock and lived all his life in Crosbyton.

Survivors include: Father: Anastacio Barbosa of Crosbyton; 9 Brothers: Manuel of Bell Gardens, California, Antonio of Fort Worth, Bennie, and Manuel of Ralls, Andrew of Abernathy, Tony, Ricky, Johnny and Freddie of Crosbyton; 4 Sisters: Eva Sifuentes of Ralls, Martha Rodriquez of Abernathy, Rosa Ramirez of Abernathy, and Olga Flores of Crosbyton.
