CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Donald William Ballard Sr., 66, of Crosbyton are pending with Adams Funeral Home.
He was pronounced dead at 9:50 a.m. Friday at his residence. Justice of the Peace Clyde Davis ruled the death due to natural causes.
Ballard was born in Crosbyton. He married Lois Anderson on April 2, 1947, in Hobbs, NM. He owned Ballard Well Service for 30 years and was active in Boy Scouts. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and a member of the Veteran´s of Foreign Wars and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Donny Jr. of Lubbock, Steve of Tulsa, Okla., and Joe Dale of Crosbyton; two daughters, Arduth Kay Johnson of Crosbyton and Pam Ballard of Rush Spring, Okla.; his mother, Jessie Ballard of San Bernardino, Calif.; four sisters, Vinnie Mae Long of Crosbyton, Mavis Wallace of Fontana, Calif., and Reva Raines and Marjorie Oliver, both of San Bernardino; and 11 grandchildren.

CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Lois Ballard, 65, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral home.
Mrs. Ballard died at 5 a.m. Monday, July 26, 1993, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital.
She was born on March 26, 1928, in Knox City and married Donald William Ballard on April 2, 1947, in Hobbs, NM. He died on Dec. 2, 1988. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She moved to Crosbyton from Rochester in 1941.
Survivors include three sons, Donny of Plainview, Eddie of Miami, Okla., and Joe of Crosby, Minn.; two daughters, Ardath Johnson of Crosbyton and Pam Covney of Rush Springs, Okla.; three brothers, John Sanderson and Charles Anderson, both of Amarillo, and Jimmy Anderson of Dallas; three sisters, Virginia Hargrove of Amarillo, Minnie Lee Ford of Kennedale and Mary Sue Anderson of Fort Worth; and 12 grandchildren.
