Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Alleen Armstrong 54, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church here. Mrs. Armstrong died about 8 p.m. Sunday in a Lubbock hospital after a several week illness.

Officiating were the Reverend Ernest Stewart and the Rev. Donald Hancock, Plainview. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

Mrs. Armstrong was a native of Crosbyton and had moved to Lubbock in 1962, residing at 6115 Ave. R.

She is survived by her husband, Neal; a son, James Seigler of Mineral Wells; four daughters, Mrs. Pat Reese, Mrs. R.W. Griffin and Mrs. Wayne Pierce, all of Lubbock, and Mrs. Benny Harris of Muleshoe; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Giffin, two brothers, Will D., and George Griffin all of Crosbyton; and 12 grandchildren.
